Surprisingly yogurt is one item that is possibly best left out of your daily diet. It is generally promoted as being healthy and good for the digestive system, so most people would not think to exclude it from their ibs diet. However it is a dairy product, and all dairy products should be left out of any sensible irritable bowel diet. The reason for this is that the whey, proteins casein that are found in yogurts and other dairy foods are notoriuosly difficult to digest.
