Irritable Bowel Treatment or IBS is one of the diseases that no-one seems to be able to categorically state why one person should suffer with it and another person have no problems.
All that we do know is that when the intestinal tract contracts in an ibs sufferer, it seems to last for a longer time, and be faster than you would expect in someone who does not suffer with ibs. The food will be pushed through too quickly which in turn causes gas, diarrhea and bloating.
